Introduction to Art
Welcome to Introduction to Art! The purpose of this course is to guide students to achieve the standards in the visual arts. Introduction to Art provides a foundation of visual arts knowledge and skills and their connections to other subjects, and explores the discipline in depth both intellectually and experientially.
Students will explore visual art making through multiple media including drawing, photography, and digital image making and refine their creative process.
Current Students
Required Materials:
Students are required to maintain a sketchbook for the course. Required materials are provided by PACS and the course will NOT require additional purchase of materials outside of what is provided by the school.
Additional materials may be used at student's discretion as long as they are appropriate for the assignment.
